Pizza Lunch

Today I had lunch with some of my former 2nd graders and my current student of the month students. I love getting together with my old kiddos!

Bird Eggs

Josh and his family found a bird nest at their house over the weekend. Unfortunately they had to remove it because of construction. He brought it in to share. There are 3 eggs!

We recently wrote letter to the 10th MT Division Infantry stationed in Gazni Province, Arian, Afghanistan. Part of this battalion is Specialist Lorenzo Montoya, who is Maria's uncle. We are currently collecting donations to send to his battalion. Please make a donation and support our troops!

Coral

We read a story in our Treasures program about coral reefs. Today we got to look and touch a piece of coral.

Tadpoles

Some of the little tadpoles are starting to wiggle (vocab word for this week)! We can see them moving inside the egg sacs!

Frog Eggs

We recently read about the life cycle of a frog in our Treasures reading program. We now have some frog eggs so that we can observe the life cycle for ourselves!

A.R. Book Goal

Recently we had an A.R. Book challenge. The following students met their goal and had an ice cream party reward: Addy, Eva, Porter, Tariq, Emma, Kristen, Josh, Maria, Shamarya, Aviel, Elizabeth, Isaac, and Alve'ona. Congrats!!
